Metal Detection for Food Powder Capsule

It is an industrial free fall Metal Detector for Powder and Granule, which can detect the presence of food powder and edible granule in powder capsule. It is composed of optical axis with a linear guide rail, optical field with a fixed light source, and photosensitive detector with phototransistor and photocell. The light beam is reflected by the surface of capsule, which then enters the detector. The reflected light beam passes through the phototransistor and photocell. If there is any metal inside the capsule, it will absorb some part or all of the light beam. The phototransistor output voltage will change accordingly. It can detect different metals under different wavelengths, such as iron powder, lead powder, aluminum powder, nickel powder etc..
