X-ray security scanners are a common feature at airports, bus stations, train stations, and other public places. They help to ensure that nothing dangerous is traveling through the airport or terminal.

The x-ray machine uses electromagnetic radiation to detect any objects hidden within bags or packages. These objects can include guns, explosives, knives, and even drugs. The x-ray machine can be either handheld or stationary.

When using a handheld x-ray machine you need to place your hand over an opening in the device and wait for it to scan your hand before moving on to the next person. If you're using a stationary device there will be a metal detector where you put your hands before moving on to the next person.
