The Checkweigher is a weighing system that verifies the product's weight within specified limits.
 They weigh the items moving along a production line and classify them by their weight. Then they sort or reject the items based on their weight classes. A checkweigher includes a feeder, scales, line dividers, discharge units, and a computerized control system.

 

Checkweigher components have different capabilities and quality depending on their application, manufacturer, model, cost, and price. Checkweighers designed for food, drink, and pharmaceutical processing are washable and can withstand extremes in temperature and pressure. Checkweighers can be integrated with a printer, or interface to a programmable controller (PLC), or supervisor control and data acquisition system.
